History of the James Bay Ambulance Service

1980 -JBAS 00 Moosonee initiated by the Fire Dept operated by the Moosonee Development Area Board

1990 -JBAS 01 Moose Factory  added and operations transferred to James Bay General Hospital

1992 –Attawapiskat Emergency First Response Team initiated.

1995 –JBAS 02 Attawapiskat integrated the EFR team into a service with onsite staff.

1999 –Fort Albany Emergency First Response Team initiated.

2004 -JBAS 03 Fort Albany

2005 -25^th anniversary of the James Bay Ambulance Service.
